So far I have the base game that I bought on Origin for ~$6 with the sale they have going on.
I'm willing to be patient and hunt around for deals, since I'm really getting into Sims 3 right now, I'm not in a huge rush. I spoke with an electronics rep at Target, and he says the physical packs will frequently go on sale there for ~$10, do you guys know if this is the case? I'm trying to find the most cost effective way to start collecting some of the packs and get caught up. What is the most you guys will pay for expansions and game packs? I see that the expansion packs are full price at $40, and it looks like they're on sale through Origin right now for $20.
So I'm looking to get back into the Sims since I finally have a good PC for it! Things have kind of gotten out of hand since I played (Sims 1 and 2, just now getting into Sims 3 after finding the game and some packs for cheap) with all the expansion, game, and stuff packs!
